In 2019, new work of Nina’s will appear in Blood and Thunder and The Healing Muse, creative writing journals that focus on medical humanities.  Nina’s poetry is also forthcoming in North American Review.   

Nina recently presented her work at the annual Popular Culture Association/American Studies Conference in Washington, DC in April 2019.

Nina Bannett’s books, Lithium Witness and These Acts of Water, focus
on mental illness.  Her work has appeared in numerous print journals including CALYXBellevue Literary ReviewLUMINA, and WomenArts Quarterly.
Her work has been featured online in journals such as Medical Literary MessengerAmygdala, damselfly press, and many others. 

She is Professor of English at New York City College of Technology, City University of New York.
